GoldMapNM is a virtual gold prospecting App with a dynamic GPS readout. Features more than 125 annotations of locations in New Mexico, USA where gold was found, and where gold can still be found today. Zoom in to see the virtual "gold found" hot spots with a GPS readout at the red crosshairs. You could visit these locations in person, or by using this App. Your current location is highlighted with a blue "map pin". GoldMapNM map has red pins for "gold found" locations. Use one finger, double tap to "zoom in", use two fingers, single tap, to "zoom out". This map has all of the zoom and pan gestures found on Maps. " Z = " button zooms to start screen. " Z + " button zooms to "Gold Found" locations. "Loc" button zooms to your current location. Current location pin is provided for reference. A network connections is required. If you are interested in New Mexico gold locations, this is the App for you. There are millions of dollars in gold still to be found. An easy and informative App that also shows current gold prices on the info screen and other gold related information. A user friendly App, just pick a location and double tap to zoom in on the actual Map, Hybrid, or Satellite view. You can observe the terrain and river features of these sites where gold has been found. This App can be used as an educational tool for the young, or for anyone interested in virtual prospecting.
